It's the best looking, obviously, and the controls are silky smooth. Easy enough for those without the skill or time to keep replaying difficult sections, but challenging enough for those completionists who like to squeeze every ounce out of their games.īest Mario ever? However, collecting everything, finding all the hidden moons and coins, and general going beyond the main story adds far more of a challenge. Collecting moons and defeating the majority of bosses is easier than ever before. Odyssey is more reminiscent of Sunshine than any other Mario game, so it's no surprise that I loved it. I've played pretty much every Mario game, and while some think that Mario Galaxy is the best ever, I disagree and actually have fonder memories of Super Mario Sunshine.
